Who is responsible
This site is the personal site of Hélder Cunha, winemaker, in Cascais, Portugal. I am the data controller for the personal data collected here. To reach me about your data, use the contact form.
What I collect and why
Contact form. Your name, email, organisation (optional) and message, so I can reply. Legal basis: your request and my legitimate interest in answering it. I keep these messages for as long as the conversation needs, and for no more than two years after the last exchange, unless a working relationship follows.
Spam protection. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3, which assesses whether a visit looks automated. Google receives technical data from your browser on the contact page for that purpose, under its own privacy policy.
Security and server logs. The hosting server and the security plugin record IP addresses, dates and pages requested, to keep the site safe and working. These logs are kept for a short period and are not used to profile anyone.
Newsletter. This site does not run a mailing list. The newsletter Notes from the Cellar is managed by Casca Wines on cascawines.com, under its own privacy policy.
Who processes data on my behalf
InMotion Hosting (servers in Amsterdam, EU), Google (reCAPTCHA and the email service that receives your messages). I do not sell or share personal data with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format, free of charge, through the contact form. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
